Approach

Every project starts with “what does success look like?”

Data-forward

I pick the metrics that match the goal (sessions and traffic sources to grow a vertical, margin and RPMs for conversion work) and let them steer the roadmap.

Efficient by design

I weigh opportunity cost, point teams at high-impact work that fits their strengths, and keep auditing content operations, using AI where it saves real time.

Built to be found

Content should be crawlable, rankable and citable in classic search, Google Discover, and the AI answer engines readers increasingly ask first.

People-first leadership

Strengths-based management, consistent feedback and real development opportunities for full-time teams and freelance networks alike.

Now · LearnLux

Leading global content for a financial wellbeing platform

As Senior Content Manager, I own end-to-end content strategy and editorial operations for LearnLux's B2B financial wellbeing platform: governance, localization, lifecycle management and editorial quality across 100+ financial markets, with a distributed team of global content strategists.

The 2027 content strategy I'm leading

Expand what we teach. Scale how we deliver it. Measure whether it reaches members.

A plan to turn a growing library of financial education into a more discoverable, measurable and sustainable member experience.

Diversify the offering

More relevant topics, curricula localized market by market, in-app video lessons and reusable webinar clips, so members learn the way they prefer.

Scale content operations

Dedicated operational ownership, stronger CMS processes and risk-based maintenance, freeing strategy to focus on innovation and enterprise needs.

Distribute and measure

Every new lesson ships with a promotion plan, engagement is traced to its source, and member and client feedback loops back into what we make next.

Foundations already in place

The groundwork that makes the plan possible, built over my first year.

  • Performance measurement: a full-library content performance dashboard, built with Data Operations.
  • Quality: planner-led audits of country-specific lessons with local financial experts.
  • Answer engine optimization: a global AEO program with localized pillar content for country-specific financial climates.
  • AI-enabled efficiency: in-house video prototypes, publishing tools that cut lesson mapping from days to minutes, and AI editorial systems that check lessons for geographic and regulatory accuracy.

The Commercial Country Database

As LearnLux pitched more global employers, the commercial team needed to demo each country's version of the app with real fluency in that market. I helped build a commercial database with a briefing for every country we serve: a country overview, available financial designations, an example lesson, key terms, local product offerings and the planners behind the content.

Each overview distills a market into scannable bullets on how families make money decisions, where wealth is traditionally held, how retirement systems work and how people pay, so a seller can get up to speed before a demo.

Country Overview Financial Designations Example Lesson Key Terms Product Offerings Meet the Planners
  • Family financial decisions are often multigenerational. Planning frequently involves the whole family, and major purchases may be discussed collectively.
  • Gold and real estate are the traditional stores of wealth, though stock participation is growing quickly among younger, urban populations.
  • Retirement savings run through the EPF, a mandatory scheme where employer and employee both contribute.
  • Digital payments have leapfrogged credit cards. UPI is how most everyday transactions happen.

LearnLux · Answer engine optimization

Getting cited by AI

Members and HR buyers increasingly ask AI assistants about financial wellbeing before they ever search. I audited LearnLux's visibility across answer engines against competitors, then launched a global AEO initiative: localized pillar content on country-specific financial climates, plus a hub-and-spoke restructuring of the blog to build topical authority.

LearnLux · Member engagement

Making lessons easier to find

A strong lesson library only helps if members reach it. Partnering with Product, Client Success and Engagement, I improved in-app content experiences, brought lessons into member communications, and made content more discoverable across the platform.

LearnLux · Global expansion

Scaling into new markets

I directed the content side of LearnLux's international expansion, building scalable content systems and localization workflows that account for each country's financial and regulatory realities, backed by AI editorial checks for geographic accuracy.

Hot Tickers

When the 2022 bear market cut revenue per article by nearly 20%, I dug into revenue by ticker and found a handful of stocks driving outsized conversion. I built an Airtable tool that sorted tickers into volume buckets, trained writers in office hours, and paired top tickers with our best headline templates.

Mastering Content Workflows

Writers claimed monthly "Repeatables" articles through a shared Google Sheet, getting locked out and overwriting each other. With our content strategists, I replaced it with a Jira Kanban workflow by financial sector, fed live by an Airtable headline dashboard, then piloted it and rolled it out to 100+ contributors.

Increasing Article Profitability: Focusing on “Hot Tickers”

The Challenge

During the 2022 bear market, The Motley Fool's revenue per article fell nearly 20%. That threatened the team's aggressive content targets, so we needed a data-driven way to reverse the trend.

The Solution

The data showed that a small group of stocks, including Nvidia, Palantir, Microsoft, SoFi, Costco, and Alphabet, drove outsized revenue and conversions but weren't being prioritized at scale. I co-led a more strategic, accessible system:

  • Analyzed revenue and engagement data by ticker to find which stocks mattered most.
  • Built an interactive Airtable base that sorted tickers into four buckets: Increase Volume, Decrease Volume, Maintain Volume, and Not a Priority.
  • Ran writer office hours to walk contributors through the tool.
  • Added high-performing tickers to the Repeatables program, pairing hot-topic tickers with top-performing headline templates.
A two-by-two matrix of article profitability against article volume, sorting tickers into Increase Volume, Maintain Volume, Decrease Volume and Not a Priority

Results

  • Revenue per article rose 25% within a few months.
  • Conversion rates surged, especially in the Repeatables content program.
  • Writers became more confident about which companies to prioritize.
  • The Hot Tickers Airtable remains one of the most-used internal tools.

The Motley Fool · Google Discover

Notable Names: A Google Discover Opportunity

The Challenge

Despite producing thousands of high-quality investing articles each month, our Google Discover traffic wasn't growing in step with output. Traditional evergreen headlines underperformed, especially when trending topics or public figures dominated financial news.

The Solution

I developed a content initiative called “Notable Names,” focused on high-search-volume business and investing figures such as Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, and Elon Musk. The strategy centered on:

  • Finding and covering recent interviews, stock moves, or quotes from these figures.
  • Working their names into headline formulas that already convert well.
  • Collaborating across editorial, copyediting, and financial review to scale quickly while keeping quality high.
  • Aligning with the broader prospect marketing roadmap to keep tone, brand, and funnel progression consistent.
A Motley Fool article card in Google Discover: Bill Gates Is Pouring Billions Into Nuclear Power. Is This the Best Energy Investment?

Results

  • One standout article, a headline about Bill Gates and Amazon, drew 130,000+ clicks from Google Discover alone.
  • That single article generated nearly $10,000 in revenue.
  • Notable Names became a long-term editorial initiative, sustaining Discover growth and informing future editorial roadmap planning.
  • The strategy strengthened collaboration between editorial, SEO, and marketing, showing the value of adapting to trends in real time.

Mastering Content Workflows

The Challenge

At The Motley Fool, “Repeatables” are proven investing article formats that get republished monthly, such as “3 Top Stocks to Buy in [Month]” or “Where Will Nvidia Be in 5 Years?” They're reliable, high-return pieces meant to drive traffic and subscriptions at scale.

Claiming them was the problem. Writers rushed into a shared Google Sheet to claim headlines, often got locked out, or overwrote each other's entries. This caused confusion, missed opportunities, and declining volume and profitability.

The old shared Google Sheet of Technology Repeatables, listing deadlines, headlines and an empty writer name column

The Solution

I worked with a team of content strategists to overhaul the process:

  • Designed a Jira workflow in which writers claim articles by joining cards on a Kanban board organized by financial sector.
  • Built an Airtable dashboard that sent headline data into Jira in real time, improving coordination between strategists and writers.
  • Piloted the workflow with internal stakeholders and a small group of writers before rolling it out to the full base of 100+ contributors.
The new Jira Kanban board, with Repeatables headlines in Ready to Claim and Assigned columns

Results

  • Repeatables article volume increased by 20%.
  • Article profitability increased by 22%.
  • Writers gave overwhelmingly positive feedback.
“The Jira claiming system is clean, easy to understand, and makes so much more sense.”

Red Penn engagement · Launch Potato × FinanceBuzz

From Discover hits to durable growth

FinanceBuzz, Launch Potato's personal finance brand, had mastered viral Google Discover and syndication content. The next goal was building authority in Social Security, Retirement, Investing, and Stocks. I led a two-phase engagement: a comprehensive content audit, then a data-backed growth roadmap.

2 phases: audit, then roadmap
4 new verticals mapped
3 channel playbooks: Discover, News, MSN
6 mo phased rollout plan

Phase 1

The content audit

A year of article performance, analyzed across traffic, revenue, and every distribution partner (Google Discover, MSN, MSN Money, Newsbreak), plus a keyword and competitor gap analysis against The Penny Hoarder, Millennial Money, and The Budget Diet.

What I found

  • Discover drove sessions while MSN and MSN Money drove pageviews, and each rewarded different packaging.
  • Winning headlines followed a repeatable formula: a 12 to 16 item list, a named retailer or audience, and a timely hook.
  • Social Security, retirement, jobs, and retail coverage earned across platforms, while generic tips lists lagged.
  • Heavy reliance on trending topics created volatility. Competitors owned the evergreen search verticals FinanceBuzz wanted to win.
  • Contributor workflows worked but weren't built to scale specialized financial content.

Phase 2

The growth roadmap

A plan to make FinanceBuzz a trusted destination for retirement and investing content, without losing the viral engine it already had.

  • Keyword Priority Score: a 0 to 100 framework combining search volume, difficulty, and CPC, sorted into Quick Wins and Medium Plays so the team knows what to ship first.
  • Vertical playbooks: what works, what underperforms, and ready-to-assign headline banks for each new vertical.
  • Channel playbooks: headline, imagery, packaging, and cadence rules for Google Discover, Google News, and MSN.
  • Benchmarks: pageview, CTR, Discover impression, and revenue-per-article targets at 2, 5, and 10 weeks.
  • Contributor model: a SWOT of the current workflow, a base plus revenue-share pay structure, and a six-month plan to recruit and onboard specialist finance writers.
